Compassionate Conservatism. Femi Fani-Kayode, October 2011.

“I believe in the establishment of a state with strong christian values and in which even the weakest, the poorest and the most vulnerable are catered for, protected and well-looked after. Some call this ”compassionate conservatism” but I call it comon sense,

common decency and the display of sensitivity and humanity. I believe in the establishment of a system that allows for the human potentials of every individual to be fully developed without any interference, limitations or hinderences from the state. At the same time I also believe in a system that seeks to assist and support those amongst us that are less fortunate and less privilaged and a system that puts and places before anything else the common good and the name of the Living God. A system whose foundation and whose source of strength is grounded in the God of Heaven and none other. This is what I believe in and stand for and this is what drives me and compels me to maintain a healthy interest in politics.”
